বাহরাইনে ভবনধসে ৪ বাংলাদেশি নিহত
বাহরাইনের রাজধানী মানামায় একটি বহুতল ভবন ধসের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। এতে চারজন বাংলাদেশি নিহত হওয়ার খবর পাওয়া গেছে। নিহতরা হলেন- কুমিল্লার ব্রাহ্মণপাড়া উপজেলার জয়নাল, চাঁদপুরের কচুয়া উপজেলার পরানপুর গ্রামের আবদুল হান্নান, হাজীগঞ্জ উপজেলার জাকির। নিহত অপরজনের নাম আলো মিয়া (ঠিকানা পাওয়া যায়নি)।
বাহরাইনে বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রদূত মেজর জেনারেল কেএম মমিনুর রহমান, শ্রমসচিব শেখ তাওহীদুল ইসলাম, জনকল্যাণ প্রতিনিধি তাজউদ্দিন, দূতাবাসের কর্মকর্তা আশরাফ আহমেদ ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শন করেছেন।
প্রাথমিকভাবে জানা গেছে, দুইতলায় একটি গ্যাস সিলিন্ডার বিস্ফোরণের পর ভবনটি ধসে পড়ে।
দুর্ঘটনার কারণ নির্ণয়ে তদন্ত চলছে। এ ঘটনায় প্রায় ২৬ জন আহত হয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে।
